Lajos Kemecsi to Run The Museum of Ethnography

Minister for Human Resources Zoltán Lajos appointed Lajos Kemecsi general director of the Museum of Ethnography.

Minister Zoltán Balog Zoltán has decided about the person of the new general director of the Museum of Ethnography. The commission of Zoltán Fejős, who run the museum for 15 years, expired at the end of last year and the ministry announced a tender for ther post. There were 3 candidates for the directorship, their applications were evaluated first by a committee of museum proffessionals. According to the recommendation of the committee minister Zoltán Balog nominated Lajos Kemecsi, who worked up to now as the scientific director of the Hungarian Open-Air Museum, Szentendre. Kemecsi will be general director for the next 5 years.
